Overview

The custom level is not for monetization and will not generate revenue. However, people have to buy the game to play it. Because of this, custom levels for ADOFAI and Rhythm Doctor can indirectly benefit 7th Beat Games. That's why we introduced the verified artists’ list program.

The verified artists program, launched in February 2020, is a system designed to help music artists protect their rights, while making things easier for custom level creators. By January 2025, over 2,000 artists had been verified thanks to players’ help.

This document will guide you through the process of getting their permission!

Devs will not intervene in the process unless artists ask devs for assistance directly.

If devs request permission on players’ behalf, it would be the same as asking for their songs for free. All permission is obtained by players for unofficial use.

  2. If there's none, send a request by using the**Permission Template**.
  3. Upload the artist’s response to the ↗️ list.
