Log File Location

It’s located in C:\\Users\\[Your Username]\\AppData\\LocalLow\\7th Beat Games\\Rhythm Doctor\\ as Player.log. (note that you’ll have to enable “show hidden items” to see the AppData folder.)

For Mac users, it’s in ~/Library/Logs/Unity as Player.log

For Steam Deck users, there are two paths.

If the log file does not have any useful info, we might ask for your error file too.

Please note that there are only two histories for Player.log. If you launched the game the third time after the error, the affected log file is likely to be gone. You would need to reproduce the error and then send it to us if that happens.

<aside> 💡 Shortcut: If you can enter to the game, hit ctrl-shift-L to reveal the log file in File Explorer or Finder.

(User can fix, maybe?) Crash on start

One last problem related to crashing on start is not having enough VRAM.

Rhythm Doctor requires 2GB of VRAM. For reference, 2012 graphics cards had 2GB of VRAM, so if your PC is <9 years old and has a graphics card, it probably will work.

But you might own a low-end PC that doesn’t have a graphics card at all, and instead has integrated graphics, which has low VRAM. This problem sometimes occurs specifically when you try to play levels from Acts 2, 3, or 4.
