Title

Seeking permission for unofficial rhythm game custom levels

Body

Hello, (Artist)!

I’m reaching out to ask about creating unofficial custom levels using your music in two rhythm games, "A Dance of Fire and Ice" and "Rhythm Doctor". You can find more information about these games on their website: https://7thbe.at The game developers ask players for explicit permission from artists to create custom levels, so I would like to hear your thoughts.

• I am not affiliated with the game developers. Custom levels are for unofficial use.
• You will be credited as the composer.
• The games are commercial, but custom levels do not generate revenue.
• Some parts of the song may be changed reasonably to fit the gameplay.
• The song will be redistributed via the Steam Workshop in lossy OGG format, as part of level packages.
• You can set any terms and restrictions on what can or cannot be used (original, remix/bootleg, record label, etc.).
• You can contact the game developers by email: [email protected]

Please read the full terms for more info: https://7thbeat.notion.site/va-guidelines You can see how verified artists are maintained here: https://7thbe.at/verified-artists/

Thank you for your time and consideration. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Please note that our conversation may be made public for the record. You can request that your response be kept private, allowing only me and 7BG staff to see it.

Best regards, (Sender)
